The onsite laboratory at Rice County District Hospital performs a wide variety of tests to assist medical providers in the diagnosis, treatment and management of disease and illness. Conveniently located in Lyons, the full-service laboratory is used for specimen collection and analysis, with the ability to process orders from any provider licensed in the state of Kansas. We utilize the latest technology to accurately analyze a patient’s lab work and send the results to the provider as efficiently as possible. Lab services are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with technicians on-call 24/7 to meet in-patient and ER needs.
