The Laboratory department received 100% passing proficiency scores on each of the studies performed in 2019. Located inside the Rice County District Hospital, the full service laboratory performs more than 233,000 tests annually. Three times each year, random samples are sent to the American Proficiency Institute to be graded on criteria related to the laboratory analyzers located inside the hospital.

- Routine maintenance performed on analyzers
- Quality control measures
- Analyzer calibration and verification
