Rice County District Hospital Diabetes Education Program understands that a diabetes diagnosis can be frightening and overwhelming. Mary Konen, RN, Diabetes Educator, teams with on-site Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator, Gretchen Stroberg to ensure accurate instruction and to provide valuable tools to manage diabetes on a daily basis. Individual sessions cover topics that include: blood glucose monitoring, meal planning, and medication management.
